NÛN Volunteers
We care about our students being sensitive to society while getting quality education at NÛN Schools.
We believe the core of education is to raise individuals who aim and strive to benefit a world beyond their own lives. We aim to implement this seed, which must be planted from the first years of education, within the scope of all our courses.
Voluntary activities such as environmental awareness, helping those in need, and social projects within the scope of volunteering are among the most important works of NÛN Schools. Students arouse a perception of consumerism even at the primary school with our social responsibility project: "Don't buy, produce!" At young ages, they use their time, energies, knowledge and skills, resources and experience in favour of “others”, of their own free will, regardless of interest.
In addition to producing and participating in comprehensive social responsibility projects, our middle and high school students learn to take responsibility by being voluntary in the activities organized in our school, and they have the opportunity to develop themselves in different areas.
The guidance of the International Baccalaureate (IB) education system implemented in our school, encouraging students to the extracurricular social activities, contributes to our educational philosophy. For this purpose, our high school students participate in CAS Community Services activities, part of the IB system and an acronym for Creativity, Action and a Service.
Through volunteer projects, our students are raised as balanced and public-spirited individuals. Our students work on projects consisting of artistic, physical and non-financial voluntary activities and produce solutions with the awareness of being sensitive to themselves, their families, the environment and society.
